The Boil Bar - Toronto, Ontario

We have tried Captain's Boil a few times and thought we would try something new. The Boil Bar offers a very similar concept however we were pleasantly surprised they offered quite a few more menu items. Our favourite items were the Fried Mushrooms, the Fried Oysters and their Fried Chicken. Seafood on point. Started off with a pound of shrimps and a lobster, ended up with crab legs, calamari, mussels and oysters. This place is exceptional and once you start you can't stop ordering and eating!

Personally, I am not a fan of this restaurant. The grilling skewers definitely comes with MSG. It’s too Chinese northeastern food.

A messy adventure in seafood delight. Great service, but you'll wait at least 15 mins to get you're stuff, even when empty. Prepare to get down and dirty with this meal, as they serve a bag of tasty veggies and seafood coated in a spiced sauce. You gotta use gloves ... and utensils to pry shrimp apart and get those amazing mussels. Amazing food at a great price. Read more
