Hands down one of the best shawarma places in town. I love the caramelized onion shawarma and it never disappoints. Usually there is only one guy taking the order, preparing and serving so be patient if you go during rush hour and dine-in. But I'd recommend 10/10.
Amazing food! Everything tastes fresh and like it’s made with love. The owner is a very nice gentleman. There’s lot of seating and the music is amazing as well. 10/10 would recommend!
Mzaar has been my favorite destination for chicken shawarma wraps for many years, owing to their delicious taste, generous portions, and friendly manager. However, I'm compelled to express my disappointment with the recent changes in portion sizes and prices. Attached photos provide a visual comparison between 2022 (the first two ... photos) and the 2023 situation (the remaining photos). Previously, Mzaar offered sizable chicken shawarma wraps that were truly satisfying. However, the portion size has noticeably shrunk. This significant decrease in size would have been more acceptable if it had been accompanied by a corresponding reduction in price. Unfortunately, the opposite is true. Prices have actually increased by approximately 30%. For instance, my usual order of 2 Chicken Shawarma Wraps and a 4-piece Falafel, which cost around $27 in 2022, now amounts to $36. While I recognize that these are challenging times and price hikes are becoming commonplace, the changes implemented by Mzaar over the course of the past year have left me genuinely disheartened and somewhat shocked. Even the Falafels, as depicted in the attached photos, no longer include vegetables and are no longer served in a box. These reductions in quality and presentation have been particularly saddening for someone who once considered Mzaar their go-to shawarma spot. Overall, I hope that Mzaar takes these concerns into account and reassesses their portion sizes and pricing strategy. As a long-time patron, I genuinely miss the Mzaar experience that I had come to love and cherish. Read more
This place is one of the best shawarma joints in the downtown area (in my opinion). Not overly stuffed and greasy, fresh toppings, incredible sauces, one of the few places that make a potent delish authentic garlic spread, and the best part is the bread! 😍 The bread is thin, so ... once they heat it when they are done wrapping it, it gets crispy and adds a great texture to the wrap. Lastly, I have to shout out the people that work there for being fast (walked in and out in less than 8 min), friendly and generous! Read more

my favourite place downtown for shawarma! The staff are kind and the food is tops, with the best garlic sauce. The falafel is my favourite too here, crispy and not too dry.
