Was at a large group (60 people) event here in the upper level space, which was very nice as is the main floor. Service was quite good. The menu was a prix fix chosen by the organizers so can't comment on the a la carte. App was a winter soup ... that was great, albeit a bit salty. My main was cod on a sautéed vegetables. The cod was cooked perfectly which I wasn't expecting given the size of our group and how many ordered cod. Vegetables were serviceable but nothing to write home about. The dessert was a chocolate torte that was delicious. The accompanying house made ice cream had a great flavour but was a bit grainy. Overall a good experience. Read more

I absolutely loved this place! I was so impressed with their cocktail and dinner menu and the service was amazing. Their food is impeccable and I cannot wait to go back. I started with a kale salad and wow, it was a bed of kale. I then had the seafood ... platter and devoured it within minutes. To finish I had their parfait, at first I was skeptical but as it was better and better with each and every bite. They ran out of their chocolate espresso cake, which is one of the reasons of me going here however everything was top notch. I came here with a few friends for Summerlicious and it was an enjoyable experience. The service was excellent and the food was amazing, particularly the panna cotta but I admit I have a sweet tooth. Sept 29/2015 - This evening we had a private work dinner in the upstairs Loft room. Wow -- I could not believe the service, professionalism, friendliness and personality of this place. The owners Domenico and Connie were wonderful to deal with while I was organizing the dinner; they ... made it easy and seamless. On the night of the dinner, there was an error, but they bent over backward to fix it and I am the only one of the guests that probably knew there was an error. The waiters Vitto and Ashley were SUPERB! Other restaurants should stand up and take notice -- because this place is FANTASTICO! We were looked after with loving care to ensure that everything was PERFECT and it was. I guess this is why this restaurant has been around for so many years!! So my friend planned a surprise birthday dinner for her boyfriend in this restaurant and we were all excited and anticipated it. On the day of the dinner, we went in for our reservation only for us to find out the reservation was cancelled without the organizers knowledge and they ... kept saying the organizer probably called and cancelled. This was absolute BS as the organizer claimed she didn't do such and not at last minute would you cancel something that you have invited a lot of people for. The manager or lady in charge of the restaurant didn't even empathize with us in any way or even offer solutions, she was rude and unwelcoming. We had to leave and get an emergency restaurant. To me a restaurant with no customer service is a classless one regardless of location or good food. Read more
