We were planning on going to Jerusalem last Sunday night, but since they were closed we decided to try Cloves the Spice. Like other people have said it's usually pretty empty in there but we thought we'd give it a try. My boyfriend and I were both pleasantly surprised. Everything ... was delicious, full of flavour, fresh and came efficiently. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options as well. We were left with a ton of leftovers for lunch the next day which made it all the better! We'll definitely be coming back. Read more
This was easily the best Indian delivery I've ever had. I'm a big fan of spicy food so I was a little apprehensive, but they blew my expectations out of the water! I shared the chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, and curried mixed veggies with my mom and all three ... dishes were mouth watering! So flavourful, rich and creamy! The 1 hour+ suggested delivery time ended up only being 30 minutes and our food was piping hot! Delicious garlic naan to sop up all the amazing sauce! In addition, the delivery person was so cheery and wished me a super enthusiastic happy Easter! I'll be back again and again! Read more
We order from this place all the time. The food is consistently amazing. The fish curries and fish pakoras are always fresh tasting, with very generous portions. We also love the chicken dhansak and the eggplant dish too.
My neighbourhood Indian restaurant, we have now tried their food 3 times, and have yet to be disappointed in anything we've ordered. Good portions and really good value compared to some of the other Indian restaurants closer to Yonge Street, and this food is much tastier anyway..so it doesn't really ... "feel" like an Indian restaurant inside (no fancy-shmancy decorations), but it's super-clean, and you can tell that the owner really cares about making sure you're happy, and the taste speaks for itself. A must-try if you live in the upper village, or you're just passing through. This place needs to stay here. Read more

Ordered delivery through Foodora. We got butter chicken, vegetable korma, and goan fish curry. The korma was solid, but we were very disappointed with both of the other dishes - particularly the butter chicken. Acidic and lacked the rich tomato flavor of a good butter chicken. Definitely better options nearby.
