Very dissapointed. Specifically called in to ask about the food as I had never been to this location. Was told the rice was orange rice with veggies and the potatoes were the round plain ones. So I was happy for the original taste of what I'm used to with ... porutguese dishes. Turns out when I got home after spending 63 dollars for food that is supposed to feed 8 to 12 people , that the rice was bland and with peas only. The flavor of peas is what you taste. As for the potatoes ,they were powdered as if they were brushed with hot spice so you couldn't eat them and they looked burnt. Was very disappointed and will not buy from here ever again. Read more

I wasn't going to share this in public, but since the owner has asked for my feedback, this was my experience. I ordered grilled chicken to go. Was told that I would have to wait 40 mins but that rotisserie chicken was available. So I ordered rotisserie chicken. Waited 20 mins ... and then asked again about my order. Was told it was nearly ready. Anoher customer came in, ordered grilled chicken and was served immediately. I asked if I could have the grilled chicken that I had originally asked for. Was told no because I had my order was for rotisserie chicken and couldn't be changed. Waited another 10 minutes and asked if my food was ready. At this point the server and the cook had an argument - in front of all the customers - about whether or not I had ordered at all. After that it only took a few minutes to provide my food. There was no apology for the delay, but instead I was told that I should have come at lunchtime to get faster service. In all I waited around 45 minutes for my second choice of food. I won't be back. My coworker made me come here, I don't really get why he likes Portuguese chicken so much. It's just dry chicken with a slightly creamy Louisiana hot sauce dip. The ladies that staff the place are really nice though and the place is really clean.
