Amazing performance by The Almost Hip Band last night, at the Linsmore Tavern! They were exceptional! We had so much FUN! 🥰 This place is truly an old-school vibe; so be sure to bring cash! Dive bar. Very long & narrow. Super crowded. Attended a disco event. Great live band. Fun and friendly people. Reasonable drink prices.

Small and cozy. This place has history and you feel it the moment you walk in the door. Very relaxed atmosphere. Gets pretty packed some nights when they have bands so go early as seating is limited. They don't serve food only drinks, so grab a bite beforehand.

July 15, 2022 BACK IN BUSINESS!!! Saw my favorite band tonight (I Will Be King - A Tribute to the Genius of David Bowie)! I was elated! This was my 5th time! It must be "the power to charm" because I can't NOT come! Still a 5 piece band, a new guitar/vocalist ... (Susie) has been added, and I must say, she fits in well. Elana and Susie compliment each other perfectly and the band seems to have a newer, fresher sound. First time back at The Linsmore since October 5, 2019, my long wait and dry spell are finally over. Now just checking their calendar for the next time they're here! June 1 2019 Once again went to see I Will Be King tonight (third time!). Really love this band - all Bowie! Elana up front on rhythm guitar sings from the heart, and the rest of the band, including the lone male on lead guitar, is virtually flawless on every tune. A true Tavern as it should be with all the history attached to this gem. Great live music acts, classic beers on tap.....with friendly staff that are quick to grab your order and not leave you empty handed. Eat before you go as there is no kitchen, which is fine.....plan ... your evening, go see an amazing live act and buy a round for your friends. As of late, be prepared to show your vaccine passport and as an added measure they will take your temperature. No worries, small thing to do to see live music again. Thank you Linsmore Tavern!
