Couldn't be more disappointed!! I called ahead to put 4 donuts aside and when I arrived, added another to my order since they all looked so delicious. I was convinced by the friendly gentleman to add yet another to my order to make it 6 and save some money. Since I ... drove all the way to Von Doughnuts from Whitby to pick up these items for a special occasion, I decided why not! The donuts looked amazing, but when we opened them and all dug in upon my arrival home, we were SO incredibly disappointed to find that all 6 donuts were dry, tasteless and extremely overcooked. I've purchased from Von Doughnut at least 7 times over the years and have never had such an awful experience. Maybe it was spending almost 3 hours in traffic just to get them home to find out that the quality was terrible and the entire experience was ruined, or the fact that my kids didn't even like them, but we felt the need to share this. I really wish I went either earlier or later as everything was picked. Earlier I would have more options later they were making more... But for what I got it was just alright. They are soft and airy. I gave 2 stars because the selection of donuts was very limited. ... Also they were all the same base donut with barely any flavour. For a specialty shop charging $19 for half a dozen I expected a lot more. We were very disappointed. We won't be going back again. Read more

Tried the cookie dough donut and I have to say this one is a banger! 😍🍩 It was super delicious AND made with cookie dough buttercream. Yeah let me reiterate, “cookie dough buttercream”, three words have never sounded better together, am I right? They also make a different assortment of ... their 25+ different flavours fresh every day which can be viewed on their website. Little gem for doughnuts! Great service, friendly cashier, very helpful and informative. Doughnut was simply amazing - fresh and soft on a nicely decorated plate. Definitely worth a try! Mind it - there is not a lot of seating available, so be ready for a take out. Overall, tea ... and a doughnut - were not as expensive as I expected. In the end of the day - for a weekend indulgence this place is the best! Read more
