Dirty venue. I urge health inspectors to visit this place and shut it down immediately. There is a pungent odour emitting throughout the place and the bathroom is among the worst I've ever seen. Horrible service and rude staff. Was not allowed reentry after smoking a cigarette despite having drinks that I paid for at the bar. Was told that it was at capacity even though several Ethiopian patrons brushed right by. Stay away
Awash is a East African (Eritrean/Ethiopian) lounge for those wondering. I’ve been there a few times, enjoying Habesha/English music , cold alcoholic beverages and flavored shisha. The vibe is nice and DJ Abel rocking tunes all night. I would recommend this spot for those just trying to chill and ... watch the game, a laid back date or hanging out with friends for the turn up.
