Oriental Taste - Toronto, Ontario

This place isn't Oriental Taste! Webpage, Menu, and Phone are for the old Queen St. location. But "Oriental Taste" on Queen St. closed years ago. My friends, family and I were regulars. Food WAS good and the owner's really nice.- Excited to see online they had opened again... Anyway, ordered a ... few of their dishes - AWEFUL not even close to the old dishes. The meats dry-rubbery, flavorless, not even compairable. - - Also noticed the "new addres" is the address for a Peking Express - 217 Parliament St, Toronto, ON M5A 2Z4 ? Read more

Other than that frustration/confusion, I've eaten/picked up here 4-5 times now and it's been consistently very good. Always the same people working, always friendly, decent little bar for watching the game on Saturdays. ... The food's nicely priced and has yet to disappoint. Glad to have this place near home. I particularly love the fried chicken and fried rice. Noodle is also favorite. As I've been saying through the ... years, the fried chicken here is the best! Read more
