Just ordered a lovely meal here! I got the lemongrass chicken with rice and peanut sauce. The chicken was juicy and not overcooked, rice was great, peanut sauce was delish. I’ll be ordered from here again. Portions are great sizes too!

Right in the heart of downtown Toronto, Basil Box is a great option whenever I want a meal that is healthy, not heavy, and affordable. I had the chance to try their MVB- most valuable boxes. These amerprotein and fibre packed boxes at a great price. In addition, you also get a ... free Iced Tea with the purchase of an MVB. You get the choice of Signature Chicken, Healthy Steak, and Yuzu Tofu. The Yuan Tofu was so flavourful and the Healthy Steak was savoury and delicious. The Iced Teas paired perfectly with the MVBs. We had the opportunity to try Pad Thai, Basil Chicken, and Butterfly Shrimp, and all three dishes were delicious. The chicken, in particular, stood out as exceptionally tasty. However, our dining experience encountered a minor issue with the service. When I placed our orders with the server, he instructed us ... to wait for approximately 10 minutes. We patiently waited on the side, and when the specified time had elapsed, I approached the server again. To my surprise, he exclaimed, "Oh, I thought you had left, so I didn't process your orders." I reminded him that he had explicitly asked us to wait for 10 minutes. Nevertheless, he promptly acknowledged the misunderstanding and kindly informed us that we wouldn't be charged for the Butterfly Shrimp.
