Jumping Bean Coffee - St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador

This place rocks! Staff are awesome, efficient and friendly and the prices reasonable. Anybody can strike up a conversation about anything. By the way, they make the best breve lattes.

Today was my first visit. Great place. Enjoyed the coffee. I also had the opportunity to sample a couple of different flavors as well. it is unfortunate that I am leaving to go back Regina on Monday. Coffee is great.. Not the same as the MUN location though. I asked why there is no tap, and she said its cause people wasn't leaving tips so they disabled it. I'm sorry but I don't agree with leaving a tip when I do t even have my coffee yet. ... They loom over you like a hawk to see if you tip. And oh yeah, I see the point of spoons to be "better" for the environment, but at least have them well washed.. They were dirty with dried up bits of stuff all over them. My girlfriend and I tried this coffee shop recently and we fell in love. The staff were so very nice as well the coffee and tea were both excellent! I now have bought some of the coffee to make at home.

I find straight espresso to be a great judge of coffee, and the jumping bean does it as well as my favourite European coffee houses. Nice galleries on the street make this a good destination!
