I was home, and the family decided to bring me to a great Saskatoon institution! We were greeted and seated promptly. The Alaskan Cod Fish and Chips (two pieces) did not disappoint! We went for Friday Halibut special a couple days early for Mother’s Day Dinner. It was very good service and the food was great and an ample sized serving. We will definitely go again. The only drawback was trying to find parking at a busy time of day.

As a visitor, I am so glad that I came in a block off of 8th to get away from the fast food and chain store. Nice to support local also. Save the space for the Warm Ginger Carame Spice Cake. 😁

Great local place. Scallops and fries were great. Friends shared an order of fish & chips and very complimentary. Dessert in picture was great as 3 of us shared.

A friend introduced me to Gibson's in January. Since then I have stopped in a few times as I love the service, friendly and caring staff as well as the delicious food. My favorite is combo #3 Shrimp and Fish. The Fries and Fish are homemade and very delicious and ... consistently tasty. Shrimp is crispy and yummy. Apparently, Gibson's has been around for over 50 years and the food and service tells us why they been around so long. If your in Saskatoon and are a fan of Fish and Chips then give them a try.
