Black Pepper is easily my favourite Indian restaurant in Saskatoon. Everything is delicious and I’ve never had anything I didn’t like, but if I had to choose – the coconut naan might be my favourite item to order. There are plenty of vegetarian options, in addition to a wide variety ... of meat choices. Excellent customer service, the staff at Black Pepper have consistently gone above and beyond for me. Recently attended a funeral where Black Pepper had catered. The food was absolutely amazingly delicious and tasty. The chicken pieces in the butter chicken were large and tender. The samosas were perfectly spiced. They had some kick, but not so much that you couldn't taste the other flavours. I was pleasantly surprised ... at how even the older crowd devoured the food. Some of whom had never had Indian food before. The naan, veg pakora, paneer pakora and gulab jamun were all fresh and delightfully delicious. My family had a large birthday party of approximately 15 people and Black Pepper was absolutely fantastic! I’ve been back 3-4 times since for the supper buffets. The buffets and food from Black Pepper are priced very reasonably. The service is absolutely amazing! Plates are cleared quickly, food is fresh, ... staff are beyond friendly and welcoming! Went here for one of my birthdays with a good friend of mine in 2017. I had the two chicken samosas pictured, I can't remember what he had, but we both agreed that the food was great. The interior design itself was a bit lacking, and the waitress, while soft spoken, ... seemed to want to be elsewhere. Great Indian restaurant, though, as my special day wasn't spoiled by any stretch of the imagination. Would recommend for the great tasting food, but the portions left something to be desired.
