Mystic Java on 8th East - Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Not quite as nice an atmosphere as the 8th and McKercher location, I think, but one of the best coffee shops in downtown Saskatoon, both in terms of quality product, good ambience, and good staff.

My coworkers and I go there often because of the coffee and food. It's so good and recommended frequently and another business set up in another they are frequently out of bagels and coupons.Service is otherwise awesome other then lack of produce.

Well this is my second review. My first one was not too great 5 months ago but because I work so close by decided to give another chance. I went in at 12:21 for Soup and a salad. I was told their soup wasn't ready yet. I ... asked the girl in the line behind me what time it was that is how I know. OKAY, it is lunch time and most people only have half hour. come on.... the girl behind the till went to check to see when it would be ready and was told that it was good to go so I could order it. The salad when I got back to my office did not have half of its garnishes on it. 2 strikes and over. Really love their ham and havarti bagel, and their overall selection. Special mention to the cheddar and fill scones as well. Service is usually quick, and prices are good. Nice staff!

Baking is made in-house, and the ladies behind the counter know how to make coffee, but the place itself isn't set up to encourage you to sit and enjoy your drink. A lot of office workers come though, so the place is often chaotic, and it's not open in the ... evening. I'd go more often if it were. Read more
