There's a reason why this place was empty when my group went in. Aside from providing sub-par bar staples, they also had Filipino cuisine. Allegedly authentic though I'm pretty sure there are few authentic Filipino places in the world that toss a frozen chicken leg quarter on a grill and ... serve it. Flavorless, tough, and chewy as to be expected. The sauce only helped a bit. Even the rice was soggy! Seriously, screwing up rice is just sad. Would not recommend this place, even for homeless people. There's a BK next door, that at least is expected to be frozen, especially at 15 bucks for a chicken leg quarter. Read more
The food is great, 5 stars once you get rid of the whole filipino dance party music cranked all the time. Remove that stage and put seating back in. You are losing alot of walk in customers from that garbage in there and I don't think you realize it. It's ... mainly a white working class population that would be stopping in there, you need to target those people and not scare them away. Nobody wants to hear anyone sing there, not do they want to watch Asian shows cranked loudly on the tv. I love Filipino people and the food they serve in this restaurant is great but they lost a ton of business from walk in customers. Read more
This was the most wonderful thing that happen to my life. Most authentic and most delicious filipino food in this city. No one can beat this. I love it. I would recommend this place to my friends and relatives.
Love the food.. Most specially the Filipino dishes, crispy Pata, tokwat baboy, lomi, pansit, and letchon kawali... Best place to hang out with friends, most specially if you guys love to sing coz there's a karaoke night' and live performances every Friday and sat.
We regularly go here if we want to eat home cooked tasting food. We always get the value for our money. Good food and friendly staff. Must try: papaitan, crispy pata, kare-kare, lechon kawali, tokwa't baboy and sisig. Highly recommended!
