The food posts online have drawn me in twice but the chef can not properly execute what he’s trying to do. The food has been awful - might as well just go back to serving dino nuggets and mediocre pub grub at this point. Will return for the shows and treat ... this place as a venue only, not a restaurant. Great bar, great music, pretty quiet when I went there (on a tuesday). I'd say if you're going there, I'd recommend going on open mic night. I only ever go to the Capitol for live music events. The venue itself is lovely for its size and type - large, airy, clean, and full of character. The sound has been good at all shows I've attended. The food is good and in large portions - when you ... can get your order in. The servers are clearly overwhelmed by large crowds and it can be a wait to be served or checked on. That said, they are friendly and very good about clearing tables consistently through the night. Read more

Went for breakfast. Prices have increased and breakfast was excellent except I got a very small piece of ham for the price of breakfast. Not a huge deal but if you are a big eater you would walk away hungry. It is not the most expensive place but there are ... cheaper places that give more food around. The service was good. The atmosphere is nice but the fans in the morning when it is cold outside are really not necessary as they make it chilly when you are sitting under them. I would recommend breakfast here but I just wanted to point out a couple of minor things as the prices are fair and the food was very good. Read more

There was a time in my past life when I spent every Friday here enjoying their super cheap wing night and imbibing. I rarely stop by these days, but they still have great wings, and I appreciate their willingness to provide space for important community events.
