If I could give it less than a star I would. I don’t even think I’ll attend a show there … I rolled in a 6pm to kill a quick ten minutes. Had one ounce margarita that was okay, in a small glass but I’m not sure how clean the ... glass was…. (Later on I would come to know that it cost 10.75 for one drink. The bar tender said it’s slow season. There was a sound check at supper time… so I didn’t stay for food. Quite possibly the most annoying sound check I’ve ever heard. That’s when I smiled and said I’ll get the bill. The shortest 10 minutes. I said 10.75 for the drink? A margarita in extra mini rocks glass I would put scotch in.That’s without the tip? For one ounce!! Margarita with so much ice it was over before I wet my lips. Pro-Tip; don’t put Caesar or Margarita in a honey I shrunk the kid glass. That bar tender has been there since I was 21… Holy smokes…. the bar keep said it depends where you drink! I frequent many places in Saskatoon that are nicer and have more standards like Leo’s, Bar Stella, different concert venues. Not the Amigos flashback I hoped it would be. Not going back and I don’t recommend. Service, aesthetic, portions and price are all off! How grossly expensive, This place needs a bar rescue. So keep the $10.75 for an ounce extra extra small, I’ll work for my money, won’t tip for ice… and underwhelming service. I won’t tip. I won’t be back. I won’t even try your food. I recommend anywhere else. So many other environments, menus and venues to choose from but if you do go.. smoke and drink beforehand and make sure you want to spend that kind of money on that quality. What is minimum wage? That’s an hourly rate for ice. Didn’t ask me if I wanted a double but heck no. I said I would be staying for one. Boooo !! Read more
