Messy catering. Not executed professionally. Just tossed around with gaps and small portions. The price per item is 15/dozen while COOP, Sobeys, etc is 8/dozen. Was misled for item count and pricing by staff and website. False advertising. The owner there offered no customer service during pickup. Did not engage ... in conversation. Shut down suggestions to improve communication and transparency and accurate advertising. She was actually quite rude and brash. Was truly not valued as a customer even though I paid her $50 for food that cost her $11 + the employee who made it for 20 mins ($2.90). Seems to only be polite to elderly white demographics. The food itself was bland with no salt, paprika, cumin, as per traditional recipes. The dill was grocery store bought generic brand with no flavour. The grocery stores have more flavour and freshness for half the price with full portion sizes. I got robbed, but already wasted the transportation to pickup and was depending on that order to feed people. Felt pressured to pay the price that wasn't fair. --Readers: If you want to support local, go to places that actually use local ingredients, ethically grown/raised, even organic, and take a few more seconds to care. I paid $50 + $25 of transportation to get a pile of messy eggs with mayo and old dill. Read more
