First time having Korean Food it was a delight, it's spicy but if you like spice it's really good. Especially the Chicken, Recommend for Foodies!
Absolutely amazing! The food was so delicious and plentiful. It was our first time going here and it definitely won’t be the last. A small cozy family run business, it’s easy the see the pride they take in their food. And they are so kind!! Thank you for the excellent ... service. Read more
Came to Saskatoon from Regina for a day trip with my cousins. Thought we'd try something different from traditional KBBQ when we found this restaurant on Google. When we got there in the evening, we were a little skeptical but oh my god it was the best decision we've ever ... made !!! The service was phenomenal. I didn't catch her name but our server was the sweetest !! Her kindness just radiated off of her (she was glowing!!) and she even gave us hot water to warm up from the cold weather outside without asking !! So considerate !! The interior was so cozy with the nice warm lighting and the lit candles. The food we got was so ridiculously good as well !!!! For the five of us, we we're all definitely stuffed afterwards !! We decided on ordering several items and just sharing all of it. We ordered this stew which is number two on the menu (I don't remember it's name), tteokbokki, bulgogi, tonkatsu, and ganjang fried chicken. The stew was so homey and warm. Delicious for the winter !! It came with rice, kimchi, and Korean pancake which meshed so well together with it !! It was goodness ontop of goodness. The tteokbokki was quite literally the best I have ever had with its mix of rice cakes, fish cake, veggies, and cheese. A nice and easy classic. The bulgogi was so light and savoury and came on this sizzling hot plate !! It was definitely addictive !! The tonkatsu was so crispy and good with its little toppings on top. It was the first to be cleared !! I didn't expect its serving size either. And last but not least, the fried chicken... I had to take a moment after the first bite. Regardless of the fact that it was glazed in this sweet and savoury sauce, it held a very satisfying crispy exterior. The meat was so juicy and tender and the sesame seeds on top just made it all the more better !!! This place is an amazing hidden gem. The best on a quiet and cold evening. Don't be fooled by its exterior as the inside and the experience we had was out of this world. We will definitely be making it a tradition of ours to visit this place again whenever we're in Saskatoon !! Craving it all again already :') I seriously have to move to out there now. Can't wait to come back and try their other items !!! Read more
The BEST fried chicken in town. I have no idea how they get their chicken so crispy, but it is always incredibly crispy, golden brown, moist, tender and delicious. The regular is good but I love the chicken with the special sauce even more. It’s a perfect blend of sweet ... and savory, and it is delicious on some of the best chicken in the country, I’m sure. The noodle soup and the other small dishes of kimchi, seafood pancakes and everything else are delicious too, but if you get Diane’s, you HAVE to get the chicken. Read more
Small hole in the wall. Had the fried chicken the flavor was good and it was very moist. The server was very friendly and helpful, explaining the Korean dishes. The downside is cleanliness. The walls are painted a very poorly drywalled with some exposed wiring. The washroom was very unclean. I ... also thought the prices were a bit high, but most places are getting that way. Most meals are $20. A whole chicken cut into 18 pcs is $35. We split a half chicken and some fries. The half chicken cut into 10 pcs is $24. The half chicken and fries was enough for 2 of us Read more
