On Saturday, June 01, 2024 at 5:00pm - 5:15pm I am in the line and there is a pale faced Chinese lady, maybe 55 years old who was very difficult and frustrating. There was a dark skinned, fat bellied, middle aged Punjabi man who was VERY rude to the Chinese ... lady by crowding and rushing her and also rude and physically aggressive toward the cashier. He was yelling at her, pounding the counter hard with a closed fist, banging on the counter window and the table with his payment card and making a fool of himself. She did her absolute best to help him without getting upset. He then threatened her with a bad review. I want that man to know that he acted like an absolute fool in front of the cashier, my family and I. Good on the cashier for doing her absolute best. I am sure the atmosphere is great but you get the absolute worst human life shopping here. Read more

Terrible service. I waited AN HOUR in line (I was timing) to order a dozen buns. There were maybe 5 or 6 parties in line in front of me. It should not take an hour to move through that line. Part of the problem is that the ... staff have no cutoff; a woman came in, ordered 8 dozen buns, which took many long minutes to pack. Why does the shop not have a cutoff e.g. if you need more than 36 items, you need to order ahead? As it was, 8 dozen bun lady cost me time and they were out of some buns by the time I FINALLY was served. Read more

China Pastry, like so many other food establishments, are scimping on the amount of ingredients in their buns. Its not good value anymore. But as many know, the lady has to be the slowest server on this planet. I can be in and out of any bakery with my order ... in under 2 minutes. Here she's so slow the average time is always 15 minutes. Like how? The buns are ready and in front of my eyes. Why does it take so freaking long to grab the buns, put them in the box, punch it into the till, and let me go. Cleaning the outside windows may also help with business. I drove 350 km just to get these buns, This bakery is the best in Saskatchewan, if Not the best bakery in western Canada. They usually have 2 dozen different flavours to choose from, get there when they first open, I was there at 2pm and they we're almost ... sold out...
