We visited for Mother's Day brunch, and they offered a special prefix menu. It was a pleasant surprise to find a beautiful flower on the table. The food is absolutely amazing-it’s creative without being over complicated, the variety is wonderful and the flavors are top. I went here for dinner as I was staying at the Capitole Hotel and made reservations for around 8 p.m. Although I made reservations there was still a 10-15 minute wait to get seated and waited at the bar. Once we sat down, they took another 10-15 minutes before we ... ordered. After waiting, we would of liked to order immediately or have a complimentary drink or small app (I've had this before when waiting too long at a 5 star establishment.) No efforts were made here. Anyways, food was really good (partly cause I was starving) and portions for mains were more than I expected which was a great surprise. I would skip the apps here as I would say they are small and overpriced, not worth it to me. For mains, we had the osso buco, which was so good. Big piece of tender meat, delicious sauce and the fried risotto and veggies were a nice addition. And also had the smoked duck risotto, which was plentiful and rich. Check this off our travel list. We stopped in for a midday meal. They had a smaller menu than for a full dinner. Yet we had the Penne and Spaghetti dishes that were excellently flavored. Nice portion size as well. We had the creme brûlée and tiramisu for desert. Crème ... brûlée was the clear winner. The staff set friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere of the space is very welcoming and set for a nice meal with family and/or friends. Read more

We went there on December 25th, one of the few places, where we still could reservations. We enjoyed our visit. Fixed menu, with interesting food. Very festive atmosphere, nice. Service was a mixed bag. Friendly, sometimes inattentive, inexperienced ( forgot to bring tableware, waiting to order drinks, that kind of ... thing ). Foie Gras with pear, salmon on potato röst, ossobuco with choron sauce, dessert buffet. Everything was well executed. Not sure, we will be back, though, there are so many other choices in town.
