Mr. Poutine - Ottawa, Ontario

Finally tried this place sober after many drunken late night eats. It was good. The gravy was thick and the fries tasty. But I don’t know if these fries were young potatoes or were not double fried - there was something not up to par about them on this particular late ... afternoon. Still one of the best after a night of chugging alcohol- but probably wouldn’t stop again if OTHER favourite chip trucks were open during the day. My absolutely favourite poutine place! Ratio of cheese and gravy to fries is perfect! Stop by every time I'm in Ottawa!

I had a small poutine and a cheeseburger. The poutine was excellent, I love my poutine with very crispy fries and they delivered. The burger was not that great but I went here at a very slow time of day in the winter so it might not have been as ... fresh as a burger they could make on a busy summer day. Read more

Great poutine, what can I say? The gravy could be more flavourful, but really, it all works out and hits the spot. Burgers are good too - flat top griddled and tasty. Nothing fancy, just good chip truck hot + tasty food at a reasonable price.

Love this food truck. Have been a customer for years. Huge servings!! And excellent tasting food. Parking in back of truck if need be. Very friendly customer service with me. Owner seems to work very hard. The French fries are crispy and delicious. Poutine is amazing. Chicken fingers are delicious ... and so are the burgers. I have seen the owner cutting fresh potatoes right outside the truck. Was happy to know they did not come from frozen. Very fair prices Read more
