Trillium Bakery - Ottawa, Ontario

Cute little bakery making simple, classic baked goods. I really enjoyed their Chelsea bun and the cute vibes. Not much seating available. They had a decent selection of bread and gluten free options.

We decided to try Trillium Bakery because we read that they use Upper Canada flour. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent and she recommended some great choices. We loved the Upper Canada Harvest and the Cinnamon and Raisin bread. We also tried the fresh Chelsea Buns and they ... were so delicious, we haven't had real ones like that in decades. Everything is yummy. I snack here daily! The croissants, the cookies everything is delicious. The coffee is great too. Can't forget very friendly!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Bought a baked good that had a huge spot of mold on it. I brought it back the next day and showed it to the staff. They didn’t even have a reaction. I asked for a refund but did not even receive an apology. ... Although the staff was polite, I have to say I’m not impressed by the customer service and lack of trying to “make it right”. It does make me wonder how old the rest of their baked goods are. I live in the neighborhood and loved having a bakery nearby. I will not be coming back. Read more

I may go there only for buying plants/flowers but not pastries certainly! I bought date square, Chelsea’s buns and tea… the buns was too much sugarcoated that I ended up having a bite only and trashing the rest. The date aqua was also too sweet and sugary… not a healthy ... one definitely. Even though, staff were nice and the store was nice too, not a to go one store for me.
