I found that their pasteries were a bit dry; they tasted good but more syrup would have helped. Overall it was a decent experience, also 95% of their items are vegan.
Pâtisserie le Ryad offers an assortment of traditional Middle Eastern & Mediterranean small pastries & desserts. The stall is quite centrally located at Marché Jean-Talon. I gave into my sweet temptation to try a couple of desserts. The kataifi was as I remembered it, golden & crispy strands that nestled sweet ... syrup & nuts inside like baklava. All their sweets seem amazing! We tried two, the pistachio maamoul and pistachio kaak filled with dates and they were very good! Make sure to grab some sweets from there in your next visit to Jean Talon Market.

We were having a coffee at the store just across and saw this store and decided to see if there were any vegan options and surprisingly many pastries are actually vegan. We started by getting six assorted pastries and baklavas and went to resume our coffee. The first bite in the ... pistachio pastry and our senses went into an over drive.
