Had a croissant and a cappuccino. Later returned for another coffee and apple juice. Croissant was very good and freshly made. Coffee just fine. Service was done mostly by quite young staff who were not experienced or/and much trained. PASTRY: • Brioche: very soft and buttery, very fresh • Cream choux: it's so big that at first I thought that it's a brioche. Very good quality, the filling cream is amazing, I believe it's cream cheese. • Croissant: A bit ... small but tasty and flaky . DRINKS: • Milk oloong tea: best oolong tea I ever tried. During our family visit to Montreal, we really enjoyed our visit to La Bête à Pain (Griffintown). It was our first time to Montreal and we visited this bakery for breakfast based on google reviews and we were really impressed by everything in there. The first and foremost thing I wanted to ... highlight is the staff who were amazing, welcoming and very tentative to our needs and gave us a lot of recommendations for our breakfast. Amazing spot for a quick breakfast bite. Their selection of pastries and bread is excellent, and the taste and freshness are worth a trip to this place. Service was good, too. Lastly, their coffee also tasted fresh and well-made.
