Good pastries, they also have Christmas cakes during the seasons and holiday theme cakes for Halloween, Valentine's day etc. Fresh fruit tartelettes during the week and there's an alteration of the pastries sold on the weekends to provide more options. Good croissants and decent pricing.

They are not as good as I remember or maybe these days the competitions have up the ante.

Nice and cheerful bakery with cozy atmosphere and good views of the surrounding area. They serve quality snacks and small plates along with delicious French bakery goods and desserts. Service could be slow at times and is a tad expensive but totally worth visiting.

2016-04 the Hot chocolate... It's like drinking melted chocolate! I didn't want the whipped cream, if you like, it's very rich and tasty. Good almond croissant. The place have few seats along the window, lot of pastries and frozen meal choices too.

There's still very fancy foods that you can't find elsewhere, but in general it's hard not to get the feeling that it's definitely going down in terms of choice. Smoked salmon and bread are very good, so are prepared meals but extremely pricey. A lot of interesting products such as ... crustless salmon sandwiches and rice salad seem to have been abandoned. Several cured meats are exactly the same as what you would find in a supermarket. The babble on their website is just air. I believe it was exceptional in the 50s, and I know it was in the 70s, but right now having a French owner doesn't impress anyone, and the food and mostly the selection hasn't improved since, quite the contrary. In short, a shop with a very limited selection of overpriced rather good groceries gradually worsening. It's time to stop dwelling on the history and ethnicity of the owners and get some new blood into management. Read more
