Première Fondue - Montreal, Quebec

An okay AYCE Chinese fondue joint but a bit on the expensive side considering the choices available and the quality for a Friday night. The restaurant itself is pretty clean and the vegetables seemed cleaned to standards. There are better ways of spending that money in Montreal like having hotpot at ... home and buy the ingredients ourselves but I guess that for those who are not willing to cook and clean after hotpot at home, this restaurant is acceptable for convenience and parking availability. The food is delicious and the price for lunch also includes fish, and there are many types of broth that we can choose. Also, the waitresses were so nice and very patient. We will come back to try dinner next time.

Spacious but a little on the pricey side. Vegetables/meats/sides are self-service and very small plates so you end up spending a lot of time going back and forth from table to buffet. But a lot to choose from ; noodles, vegetables, meats fishes tofu. make your own sauce bar and ... drink bar. All you can eat beef and lamb. Best Chinese Hot Pot , no excuse! The only down side is other places have free soft drinks, in here they only provide free water. However, the basic hot pot sauce is so good! You can feel they put a lots of efforts in it!

Quite pricey, the food and broth was ok. In general all the ingredients are fresh.
