I didn't know that this restaurant is open until 4 in the morning.. an excellent option on the Rive Sud for late nights. The food is good in its style, menu with all possible Smoke meat presentations. Dunn's is one of the few remaining places that still opens until very late in the night which is really nice for people like me that eat dinner very late. The service was friendly and quite pleasant. The food was served quite quickly too and all the waiters were ... quite polite. The noise level was pretty low and the tables are pretty spacious which makes the dining experience more enjoyable. I was however seated on a table with a broken booth. The leather was ripped open and the seat was quite uncomfortable the whole meal. For the food, the flavours are pretty on point and the quality of the ingredients are pretty good. I really enjoy their smoked meat which has a good balance of fat and meat. The carbonara that I had on the other hand wasn't too amazing in my opinion. I feel like there was just too much cream and it was overwhelming the flavours of everything else. It made the whole meal taste like nothing but cream and it wasn't that enjoyable. The poutines and the pizzas were pretty good though. Man why was this place so poppin on a Tuesday night???? Honestly average food with ok vibes but it’s a Montreal classic. Open late and they have milkshakes (but not on their menu). Our first time here. We had no expectations but were pleasantly surprised on the venue. Place was clean. Music was good and not overly load. Service was fast. Portions were good size. I upgraded my fries to a poutine, but would not do it again. I chose the smoke meat ... platter. I took medium next time I will take fatty. My significant other took the chicken wrap. She enjoyed it. This was the first time at this location and it was just as good as always. The smoked meat sandwiches were delicious and exactly as requested with regards to the fat level.
