Halibut House - Markham, Ontario

Really enjoy the fish at Halibut House. They so have other brunch / breakfast choice but always go back to the fish with the right portion and batter just right.

We had a quick breakfast. The food was very good and quick to get to our table. Loved will go back again.

A nice bright fish & chip joint, lightly battered fish fillets of halibut, haddock & Cod, super crispy outside with moist flaky fish inside, served piping hot with crunchy coleslaw, large servings at reasonable prices, efficient service with friendly staff.

Met my friends here for breakfast, they are regulars here and I can see why. Food was fresh, decent size portion and fantastic personable service from Tina. Enjoyed a great Breakfast. Washrooms are ♿ Accessible. enjoy their free Wi-Fi.

Pretty sad to see the decline of what used to be my favorite fish and chips restaurant. Their Sunday/Monday special kept getting more expensive with shrinking portions. Went today, and the haddock&chips special is now $13 plus tax and tips. So for 2 people, we paid $34. The fish was ... still really good, but we definitely got less fries than we used to. They only had one waitress and she did not come check in on us once and did not refill our water until I asked. At this price, with this level of service, it is hard to justify visiting again.
