There is a wide variety on the menu for noodles with your choice of toppings and wontons. The food comes very fast, almost immediately after ordering. The wontons are very large and flavourful. Other toppings we got and enjoyed were beef brisket and dumplings.

Earlier, I came across an article celebrating this eatery's recognition among Canada's top 100 best restaurants. Intrigued, I decided to treat myself to their renowned wonton noodles today. Considering its prices, this spot caters to everyone, offering a bowl of Cantonese noodles for a reasonable CAD11—a great deal for any food ... enthusiast. As the waiter brought over my eagerly awaited bowl of wonton noodles, I couldn't wait to dive in. A true Cantonese broth is not just clear; it should burst with the flavors of dried flounder fish and shrimp roe. However, the broth before me fell short of this ideal. Though clear, it lacked the depth I had hoped for, with the scallion topping overpowering the delicate balance, and the absence of Chinese chives was a slight disappointment. Undeterred, I turned my attention to the Jook-sing noodles, which had garnered quite a reputation. They didn't disappoint. These noodles had a lovely texture, devoid of the unpleasant alkaline taste often found in lesser varieties. The subtle hint of egg added to their charm. And the wontons beneath? Each one was a delightful surprise, filled generously with pork and succulent pork back fat, complemented by the occasional burst of fresh shrimp—a testament to the owner's commitment to quality ingredients. No exploration of Cantonese noodle places would be complete without trying their house-made Chaozhou chili oil. Vibrant and aromatic, it promised an explosion of flavors. We ordered a pork with chili & tomato lo mein and a beef tripe noodles in soup. They came very quickly after we ordered. The lo mein was pretty good but too spicy for me. The beef tripe was not bad but it would be easier to ... eat if they can cut them into smaller sizes. Read more

Got the beef brisket and dumpling noodles here. The food comes out fast and service is efficient. The noodles had a good bouncy texture. The brisket pieces I got were very lean and a bit stringy. Dumplings are massive but tasty.
