Locomotive Espresso - London, Ontario

It’s a lovely place to enjoy signature coffees! I love it!

While exploring the London area I found this little gem of a Café. I walked through the door and was greeted by very friendly staff and a vibrant atmosphere. It was busy for a Wednesday afternoon. I saw that as a good sign and took the last open table. I ordered a ... flat white and a Espresso buttercream chocolate cookie sandwich. My god! The cookie was unbelievable. It was fresh, very soft and packed with great flavour! I would recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth and a calorie deficit 😂 The flat white was well presented, however I took a star off for it being fairly basic to me. The espresso wasn’t bursting with flavour and was mild for my liking in an espresso. I was expecting a bit more being locally roasted. It was still good overall though. Always a good place to grab a coffee. The staff are nice and great to interact with, the atmosphere is great, always see people meeting and enjoying it, and the patio outside is gorgeous in the summer. They get really good baked goods, always have delicious cake loaves, and have ... some nice lunch options, though definitely on the pricier side. Definitely check it out! Read more

Great coffee, cozy atmosphere. It can get a little noisy.

Such a fun spot in London ON, everything was delicious... Along with some pretty cute ducks to top it off. We had 1) smoked salmon bagel and 2) hummus tomato bagel.
