I've been wanting to check this place out for a long time, and I'm glad I did! It was lively and had a good collection of board games, many of them seemed barely touched. We played for hours in a cozy corner, enjoyed our warm tea, and planned to ... be back soon! Read more
I was looking for a place to play boardgames and came upon Adventurers Guild. What luck! I visit boardgame cafes and arcades often as my wife and son (6) enjoy both. This place has it all. Although I own a large collection of tabletop and videogames you need to get ... out and this place has heart. We played My Little Scythe, Fireball Island and Donkey Kong Country on the SNES which was great but truely the staff, decor/atmosphere and patrons of the Adventurers Guild were the standout features of our night. We got pizza, milkshakes and some craft beers. I can’t wait to bring my friends here. Totally worth the drive in from Fergus! Tell your friends! This is a solid gaming destination for all ages. My friends and I have frequented The Guild for years, figure a review is long overdue 🤠 I cannot recommend this place enough, the atmosphere is fantastically cozy and every drink I've ever tried here has been a Potion of Delicious. Highly recommend the Misty Mountain, London Fog or Hot Chocolate. ... The pizzas are tasty too but the overall food selection is a bit limited—though honestly the menu isn't the main draw anyway, so I don't see this as an issue. The game selection is fantastic as well, and I love the mix of board games and retro games. The staff are all very kind, and I love the overall vibe of geeky camaraderie with fellow patrons—The Adventurers Guild has really created a space for folks to feel comfortable and authentic, which is so appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend journeying to the Guild on your next adventure!! 🧝🏻🧚🏻♂️✨ Read more
Great place in the downtown area. It's a smaller space but that gives it a very cozy and lively atmosphere when it's full, which it was when we went. The games selection is really good, they have around 3 TVs setup with various consoles with a lot of retro and ... somewhat more recent games. They also have a huge variety of board games and card games for different size groups. The milkshakes were really good. I wasn't a big fan of the nachos but that's not a big issue. Some of the food on the menu that we didn't try also looked like it'd be good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is the best out of 3 board game cafes I've been to so far. Read more

One of the best cafes I have ever been to!! I had tried it for the first time, I could not play any games because of personal reasons. Although, I am very eager to visit this again very soon. There are myriad of board games, some options of classic video ... games and a lot of nostalgia among the atmosphere of this place. We had coffee and some appetizers (Antijitos -yummy), which was very delicious as well (FYI-in love with their side sour cream). Do visit if you ever were even once interested in any kind of games. Also, it is not mandatory to play games if you don’t want to, it is recommended though for best experience. Otherwise, you can just sit, relax, enjoy your coffee and vibe!! Read more
