Called in to place an order for a chicken mee cha, because it’s a cambodian dish and I wanted to try something new. The portion was great, but flavour wise it’s nothing to really write home about. A little too sweet and too saucy for my liking. I asked for ... extra spicy and they delivered it. I probably won’t order this dish again. Went there on 21 Apr 23, takeout only. We ordered a rice paper roll with shrimp, Pad Thai with Chicken (#15) and the Cambodian curry (#7). Appetizer was okay, fresh, mostly lettuce but that makes it crispy. The fish sauce seemed somewhat diluted with chopped peanuts added. I personally ... like salad rolls with a 50/50 mix of half hoisin sauce/half peanut butter as a dip. The main courses were mostly carbs, not many vegetables and even less protein. The curry was flavourful, but had hardly anything other than sauce and rice. Pad Thai was lack luster, not the worst but definitely not the best I've had, and mostly noodles (texture and flavour were not great). Pros: portions were big, food was hot, curry flavour and service were good. Cons: not much substance to the dishes. I wouldn't go there again. Read more
