Dined with my daughter and wife at the Keg having pre-booked a table online. Process was easy. Free parking was available. Our server was Justin, an amazing and well informed gentleman. I had the blackened chicken with the garlic mashed potatoes. My wife had the ... 10 ounce Prime Rib (Medium) and daughter had the Keg Burger. Our compliments to the Chef! With pre-dinner drinks and lots of homemade warm bread and garlic butter there was no need to order an appetizer. I cannot wait to have another quaint meal with my favourite ladies at our local Keg. This is the first time in a long time had beyond slow service. It took forever to get drink order. They brought the order out with the appetizer. The restaurant looked like it was maybe at 50-60 percent capacity, it wasn’t overly busy. There seemed to be lots of staff. ... The server was friendly, the food was amazing and the prices are better than reasonable. We would go again, all I would say is maybe bring the drinks and bread out within a reasonable time frame. I’m not a picky person if you look at my other reviews almost all of them are 5 stars. I don’t like being critical of service as we appreciate the hospitality industry. I expect allot more from the keg. The only other comment I remember going here 10 years ago and I don’t think it has changed. We thought there was bread crumbs on the table but it was chips in the table top paint. The place is great location and nice atmosphere but time for a refresh. Read more

Went to the Keg for the first time, we had reservations but still took a while to be seated. Once seated our server was very pleasant and helpful . The food was amazing and at a decent price. We will be back.

The food was good and what you would expect from a chain restaurant. Not much deviation with their flavouring. The calamari appetizer was very tasty. We had the chef come to our table to explain what would be the best meal for our allergies as they take allergies very seriously. ... The vegetarian in the family enjoyed the Mediterranean Cauliflower with shrimp. I had to deduct marks for the atmosphere. It was too dark even tho we sat near the window. Wonderful waiter, excellent customer service throughout the whole evening. It goes without saying that the food was phenomenal and prepared exactly the way I wanted it to be. Got the shrimp skewers and holy mama! Those shrimp are big and juicy and you get 5 of them. The complementary sourdough ... bread with the creamed roasted butter spread was great too. Had the billy miners ice cream pie which seems to never disappoint. You get a massive piece but it's a light dessert that doesn't weigh you down. Thank Keg for a wonderful evening. Read more
