Pizza Hut - Kingston, Ontario

The staff here were excellent. I was gonna order off their menu, but they recommended ordering from the website. The website was fairly easy to use. They were helpful and were customer oriented. I would recommend that if you have group discounts like first responders, etc, that you select online ... pay at the restaurant and they can apply such discount there. Never Again, Pizza Hut. Very low quality pizza for good quality pricing. Their service is decent for a pick up only location. This used to be our spot on 401 journey's from Toronto to the East cities. I will find a better place moving forward.

Pizza is hit and miss. One time its wonderful, and the next its awful! Then back and forth again. Management is trying their best to right the wrongs, even replacing entire family meals. I went to the noon hour pizza buffet and was sorely disappointed. It was a very dingy atmosphere, you could see into the kitchen and the mountain of dishes by the sink. There was very limited seating available because a lot of the tables hadn't been bussed and remained that ... way throughout the meal. What was advertised as a salad bar was in actuality only lettuce, salad dressing, and croutons. The bread sticks were quite enjoyable, if not overly salty. The pizza was hit and miss, assuming you could get any. They accepted too many patrons for a buffet bar that could only host 6 small pizza trays at a time, and often there was a gaggle of disgruntled customers waiting beside it for more pizza to arrive. The only desert available was a sad attempt to combine delicious apple pie with a pizza base and cover it with icing. At least the apples were edible, the pizza base was comparable to soggy cardboard. Overall I was left very unsatisfied with the whole experience. I'm not sure if it's a lack of staff or a lack of knowledge, but I have a definite lack of desire to come back. However, if you can look past this and appreciate the option to eat all the (not all of it was terrible) pizza you want for $10, it's a pretty great deal. Read more

It's pizza hut, what do you expect? ;) It's certainly filling, decent quality food, comfy atmosphere. The desert pizza with apple is definitely worth saving some room for.
