Rahim’s Cuisine is an alright place to go if you’re looking for some Pakistani food in Kingston. During our time there we ordered various curries and biryani. The biryani was good, it was a little different to the usual Pakistani styled biryani I had expected, however, it was good. The curries, ... however, we’re not up-to standard. Firstly, the quality of the curry was decent in terms of freshness and ingredients, however, the taste was not great. For the price you’re paying you’d expect the curry to taste amazing, but it was satisfactory. Secondly, the quantity of the curries was too small. It wasn’t worth the price. Overall if anyone is interested in visiting I would recommend the biryanis, good quantity and decent taste. Read more
Dated but comfortable interior seating. Service was reasonable - no issues, some communication challenges but nothing noteworthy. Food was excellent, chicken was perfectly cooked and succulent. Popadoms were heavily oiled, tasted good but the visible oil droplet coating would deter some.
Went to meet Rahim and his wife June after 12 years. The food is still as good. I would recommend it. We had the shrimp biryani (the reason we came back to eat here is this) and we also tried Lahore chicken and bhoona lamb. We got everything in spicy ... and I was so happy o did not have to add any type of spicy pickle or hot sauce. Everything was prepared fresh and was nice and warm. Regardless of what others have said - the food was delicious and tasty. The aesthetics of the place maybe deceiving but the food is great! Read more
If you enjoy Pakistani food, DO NOT GO HERE. This place is a disgrace to the Pakistani culture. First off, service was awful and food took forever to heat up. I say heat up because it's clearly not authentic and was definitely not cooked there. The naan is from the ... frozen grocery store brand and overpriced for $2 a naan. When you can go to the store and get 5 for the same price, plus when you make them they won't be stale. Kabobs tasted like freezer burn and rice was not cooked well. The decor is ugly and distasteful, a mix of Indian, Chinese, and other south east Asian countries. Read more

We used to come here for dine-in before the pandemic when they still had the all-you-can-eat buffet and it was always great. Since the pandemic we have been getting take outs from there at least once a month and have always enjoyed the food. Not sure what the other reviews are ... talking about in terms of taste and quality/quantity. It’s a lot of food, especially for the price. We usually get chicken and vegetarian dishes and it’s always tasty and hot. It’s a small family-run business, since the pandemic it’s only Rahim and his wife working there. We never had a bad experience with them and hope they continue to make delicious food for years to come. Read more
