Came at 10:13pm but they say the crispy chicken sandwiches aren't available just because it's closer to 10:30pm and they are too lazy to fry it. Dining area is very clean and quite empty. You'd find about only two tables of diners and a steady stream of take outs. I don't understand why anyone would LOCK the toilet at a fast food restaurant. Like, come'n.. You only have two staff at the counter, and when there ... are more than one person in line, you are occupied. You cannot go and open the toilet door with your key for every single customer trying to wash their greasy hands. Ya, I see it with my very own eyes that customers are waiting to use the toilet but the staff is busy with food orders. Everyone is just standing around awkwardly holding their bladder or their greasy hands. How about installing a sink outside? Or use a numpad lock? A lot of fast food restaurant uses numpad locks, so you don't need a staff 24/7 guarding that holy toilet. That said, the fried chicken here is so mid. The batter smells like oil that's been frying for at least a week old. Oh, I know what poor over-used oil tastes and smell like. There are definitely lots of burnt bits in their oil. Can do better in cleaning this place and washrooms. There is no changing table for babies either. Tables and floors were not getting cleaned as customers left. Asked to clean the table, which was done, but lots of food crumbs were still on the floor.

Heard the hype had to try the sandwich, got 2 combos took them home and TADA they screwed up one of the combos. I live close by so returned and got a refund. Went to the new downtown location ordered the same 2 combos and TADA they screwed one of ... them up as well but we checked the order before left. Sandwich is good but prefer a Big Mary, not to mention the sides are better. Is it just me or are fast food places screwing up more. Check your order before you leave. Very disappointed with popeyes today. I am a regular customer here with my family ,and we loved popeyes chicken.but today i buyed family meal and most pieces were having weird smell inside with bloody substance and taste badly (Don't say it was a spicy masala🙏) (4 out of 9 pieces ) ... and i informed the desk too. They asked for a replacement but that bad smell made me feel nauseated and my kids also didnt liked it. Read more
