Famous for what? Deffinitly not donairs. Just got a donair here, not impressed. The meat lacks a lot of flavor, there's no grease(what a real donair should have), and the cheese wasn't even melted, it was just thrown on. I do give credit for the sauce though. When biting into ... the donair there was a lot of tough pieces that I ended up spiting out. That turned me off from eating the remainder of my donair. I don't recommend donairs here. If you want a great donair go to the east coast. I should have stuck with my original plan, pizza pockets from the grocery store. Read more
Used to love love love this place. However they now refuse (twice in a row once on a Saturday and on a Tuesday) to make the donair pizza that they clearly still offer on their menu. Don't offer something if you refuse to make it. If it doesn't sell take ... it off! Seems logical. They recently joined Just Eat. Rejected my order on a Tuesday. Gave the pitas a shot. My wife and I were driving around Kingston with our kids looking for somewhere to eat. We came across this place and decided to try it out. Man am I glad we did. I have no idea why so many people think this place is bad. Went here for a schwarma on St. Patty's day, and it was absolutely amazing. massive amounts of garlic, massive amounts of chicken, and the owner is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He insisted my ... order was free, bid me to have a good day, and went right back to work. Hard working, nice guy with a quaint and incredibly homely restaurant with incredible food for great prices.
