This is a great spot in downtown Kingston to have brunch either in the Cafe or on the patio. The bread and baked goods are delicious. They also have great sandwiches, dips and a well stocked frozen section. I brought the frozen meat tortiere home to bake and it was ... very substantial and tasty! Pan Chancho is a go-to brunch and lunch spot whenever we have out of town guests. A cozy interior complimented by a patio in the summer makes for a great atmosphere, and they may have the best coffee in downtown! Everything on the menu is fantastic, and they are open ... to modifications for dietary restrictions in addition to dedicated gluten free and vegan options. This is such a great bakery and cafe! Pan Chancho has a very lovely storefront, and upon first entering, you find yourself in the store section, full of yummy food and cute home decor and kitchen items! Visited with a friend this family day long weekend and can't say anything bad about this hiden gem. Had breakfast the last day of our visit and were quite impressed with every flavour!. My friend ordered eggs Benedict and I had french toast. My french toast was so delicious! Starting from the ... tea all the way to the bacon passing by that amazing toast and peach (yogurt??) I believe it was. I give my meal a 10/10. My friend enjoyed her food as well. The atmosphere was delightful and since it was snowing so bad outside, we really felt like we were having a Hallmark moment 🤣. It was the cherry on top to a great like trip to Kingston. This is a nice little gem of a place in Kingston. I had the chance to grab a coffee and a pastry here and it was delicious. I get a very home vibe and energy from this cafe/bakery, which means everything is made with love. The bakery and cafe ... were jam packed on the weekend. I got a apple pastry (wish it had more apple) but it was decent, as well as a latte with oat milk. I did find that the pastry items were a bit on the pricier side, however worth it if your in the area and want to simply check this place out.
