Silver Wok - Kingston, Ontario

Extremely friendly locally owned business. Got veggie chow mien, wonton soup, and spicy fried tofu. Food was amazing and delicious. Takeout only but has gorgeous paintings to look at while you wait.

Excellent food that is always consistent. The staff are friendly and polite. We’ve been eating here for many years and have never had a bad meal. I wish they had a location in the west end, but it’s worth the trip downtown.

Best Chinese food in Kingston! (And equal to Toronto Chinese food restaurants I grew up with.) Everything I’ve tried from Silver Wok has great flavour and never over cooked or mushy. Noodle dishes are always delicious and takeout doesn’t end up soggy. We usually order enough for a couple days ... of leftovers and it’s still delicious for work lunches! Read more

Excellent food from here, the only place I will order Chinese from 😋. The people who work the front counter are always friendly and food is quick to be ready. Last time I ordered a combination plate with sweet and sour shrimps (sooooo fresh and delicious) and an order of ... Singapore noodles. Looking forward to my next meal from here. Read more

Silver Wok has quite an extensive menu. Unfortunately, it's quite expensive for the portion sizes. The taste is quite average I'd say. Therefore, Sunflower Chinese at Montreal/Princess is a better choice - the portions are larger and the prices are cheaper. The store itself is larger than Sunflower, it is functional ... and basic.
