I planned to bring a group of friends from out of town here since it was the only all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in town and called ahead. However, I was greeted with a girl that couldn’t speak English and was very hostile. When we arrived for our reservation, we ordered a ... first round that took over an hour to get one roll and discovered that they had somehow forgotten half our order but didn’t tell us. Our second order also took over half an hour to get one roll that wasn’t even part of our order. Meanwhile, surrounding tables that arrived after us had been served multiple times and even finished their meals and left. Overall, if you value timely service and great food, I would highly discourage you from coming here. Read more
While this place is definitely over priced, the quality of food is great and the atmosphere is beautiful. The food came almost as quickly as we placed the order. The reason I am giving them 3 stars instead of 5 is for 2 reasons: #1. Poor customer service, I.e. rude servers #2. A ... vastly overpriced all-you-can-eat menu. Have to say wasn't crazy about this restaurant, it had a funky smell almost as if there was a water leak. Service was fantastic which is what kept me from rating two stars but food was nothing to write home about, sub par AYCE quality.
Not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this place. I go here with my girlfriend regularly, and we have never had a bad experience. The sushi is always great (good bite sized pieces with a solid rice to filling ratio), and the food comes quickly. ... In terms of service, it's very standard for any AYCE restaurant, and the wait staff are really sweet and hardworking (they're just usually very busy bringing multiple plates of food to each guest). Super reasonable price for lunch!! Read more
While the pricing is fair for all you can eat, the service is hilariously bad. Server don’t return to tables unless waved down, food takes a lifetime to reach the table, and often times things are forgotten. The sushi quality is mediocre, but on the lower end of the spectrum ... compared to Kingston’s many other fantastic options. Save your money, don’t come here. Read more
