Megalos Restaurant - Kingston, Ontario

We went on a Saturday night and we were seated right away. I ordered an appetizer beet salad and gluten free pizza... But was told they don't do appetizer beet salad size and changed to Cesar salad. Then I was told there was no gluten free pizza crust left... So I ... had to change my order to pasta. Otherwise dinner was really good and service was excellent. The owner even sent us free dessert to make up for the changes that had to be made, which was very nice. Dessert was delicious and the had a couple of gluten free options. What a lovely restaurant. I have nothing but glowing things to say about Megalos. The atmosphere was a cozy escape from the cold where the staff welcomed my friends and I and served us a delicious meal! They were very accommodating of my dietary restrictions as well! The food was good. Just too expensive and too oily. But the mimosa made it worth to eat. =) the place was really cozy too.

Came for breakfast this morning, someone was having a craving for Waffles and Chicken. Ordered the waffles and an Eggs Benedict, couple of coffees and waters. Almost everything was great. Eggs were awesome, home fries were tasty and coffee was refilled. The only negative was the fried chicken. ... It wasn’t very tasty unfortunately; needed a little more seasoning. The staff were very polite and the restaurant itself was clean, bright and well decorated. Megalos was quick to respond to a 15 person reservation for brunch and my entire family loved their meal. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was great and they were able to accommodate our dietary restrictions.
