Pretty friendly watering hole. Finally, one that I found age appropriate for my liking. Stellar bands and their crowd were extremely engaged; which I love for musicians! The limestone in this space is incredible. It's my understanding that this is one of the oldest buildings in Kingston besides ... the ST. George Hotel and would love to know more about its history as I didn't see much of that being offered to patrons, not from here. They've kept it a very cool vibe despite the dark and cold look of this historic landmark in its original layout. Located near the harbour, nice ambience in the restaurant, outdoor area with lots of seating. Although the waiters were constantly scurrying through the restaurant, it took until we could order and the drinks were brought. The food took so long that we could only take it with us, as we had ... no more time. However, they were very obliging with the bill and apologised for the waiting time. Very professional! First time here and went during our stay in Kingston at the Holiday Inn right bedside (Highly recommend staying there). We checked the menu online first which looked appealing which made us chose here. We also wanted to try an new place that we didn’t have in our area and ... avoid chain restaurants and wanted to support local. Weather for us was fantastic, outdoor patio is big and was fully packed with people. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the hostess and waitress were both friendly, welcoming and full of smiles. She was quick on checking on our drinks for top ups and the food came out hot and fast! The food was amazing and filling we had zero complaints about the food or service. We didn’t go inside so I can’t speak for that but we enjoyed our meal and the view on the patio. I’d deff recommend to others and we’d go back again. Read more
