Original Bubba’s - Kingston, Ontario

Two of us shared the king size Quebec Style Poutine. It was delicious and big enough for a meal for 2. We were hoping to try the vegetarian style but they were out. I love pizza, and when I'm traveling I like to stop a local non chain pizza places. This one was close to my Hotel, and seemed to have great reviews. I walked in and ordered a medium to go. (Plus a poutine because that's a free add on they have!) I took ... it back and when I opened the box, I was amazed. The pizza smelt and looked amazing. The go to place for an amazing poutine!! They pack their poutine with gravy and tons of cheese. They also have good hamburgers and some pretty good wings. After moving to the area this has become my go to place for a filling poutine. Only downside I've had is with ... delivery times, usually about an hour. They're quite popular and well known so I definitely can understand a longer wait time though. Definitely recommend giving them a try for yourself. If you order a poutine you will not be disappointed or left hungry. Delivery people are nice as well. Read more

I was in town for the Blue Rodeo concert and most restaurants downtown were packed. We ended up at Bubba's, which was not a regret. They were out of my first two menu choices (chicken souvlaki and deep fried pickles) but the chicken wrap was quite good. Service was fast ... and friendly and the other patrons made it an extra enjoyable meal. Read more

The picture says it all. I first went to Bubba’s back in 2005. The poutine is still just as good. And Mary still recognized me from 22 years ago! Love this place.
