Boston Pizza - Kingston, Ontario

The glasses they brought our party were dirty, even after we'd pointed out the first set they brought were dirty. We were a larger party (12 people) and the meals all came out at different times, although the server did her best with little support, despite that there were only 2 ... tables in the whole restaurant. Worst service and food I have ever had! I took employees here for dinner and the service and food preparation was the worst I have ever experienced! Over $100 for three people and I would have been better off spending it at the dump! Called head office in B.C was ... told they would have the franchisee call me back that was three months ago still no call. Called regional office and explained it again today, was told oh well we can put you thru to guest services and they can take your complaint! What? I already made a complaint and was told that the franchisee would call me and make it right!! That never happened now you want me to start again?? I like Boston pizza and Jim I am sorry to leave such a horrible review but you need to do something about this store!!! And the fact I never did get that call back! I will never go to a Boston pizza again due to the combination of that incident and the disrespect shown by never calling back even though I was told I would be receiving a call!!! Read more

Very few staff. We were seated at a table and left alone for 15 minutes. Not even asked for a drink. Once we saw the waitress chatting by the front door rather than working to serve customers (we weren't the only one unattended) we got up and left. Never have I ever had a restraunt experience so bad in my life. Me and a group of 5 other people arrived at 8:30pm to eat dinner, with not too many people in the restraunt and were first told there were no seats even though there clearly were seats visable ... that could fit us. We were then seated by the hostess who gave us 4 menus for 6 people, despite having more on the counter. After we sat down we did not have a waitress come to put cutlery on the table or give us water. I could understand a few minutes without water but not one server walked by us for 45 minutes even though we tried to flag them down multiple times is ridiculous. Now it was 9:15pm and we still didn't have water despite asking multiple times and not having a server come by and introduce herself. A waitress finally came and we ordered our "food",water, and alcohol, but still did not get water for an additional 25 minutes. We finally got it a pitcher that provided enough for less then a full glass each, and there was no chance our waitress would come back within the next hour to refill it. We finally got our horrible food at 9:30 (that made me sick) with my friends not receiving the fries he ordered, or the alcohol ordered. It had been quite some time since we ordered drinks and nobody cared to make them, even after going up to the bar to tell them the situation and how long we have been waiting. We finally finish and I'm not sure why I was expecting standards in their bathroom but that was an experience all on its own. I complained to the manager saying everything I have just typed and her response was laughing me off and giving us a $2 discount. Absolutely terrible service where we were ignored by everyone including the manager and was disrespected more than I can articulate. If you want to go here it's better to just burn your money because of the amount of time you will waste in this failing establishment. Read more

probably the worst meal i've had in kingston. buckle your seat belts. here we go. sat down and ordered a pitcher that took 15 minutes to arrive. then ordered food, my partner and i both ordered pasta. 10-15 minutes later a woman, who was not our server, came over to ... tell us the kitchen was out of one specific pasta sauce so my meal was not able to be made. i ordered a pizza at this point instead, disappointed. shortly after my partners meal arrived, with the wrong garlic bread and was lukewarm. after addressing that issue some cold cheesy bread was brought on a plate. this whole time our server made it clear he didn't want to come back to our table even though we had been nothing but pleasant. my pizza finally arrived and was decent but it didn't make up for the other unfortunate mistakes. i understand that it wasn't completely our servers fault or completely the kitchens but for us to pay 62+ dollars for food that we barely touched with no attempt at an apology or reconciliation was incredibly disappointing. will not be returning and have written a review to management.
