Excellent portion and good value. Chicken was tasty, medium was spice was good. Coleslaw was good as well. The slaw could have been a little colder. It was well-packaged, quick and tasted good.

The first delicious meal I have ordered since moving to Hamilton. Fast service, and the food is immaculate. I find when ordering through apps places tend to cheap out on sauces and portions, when the food arrived I felt as if I had literally just ordered it in a restaurant. ... I'd have to agree with an earlier review regarding the oxtail rice. I ordered the large portion and paid around ~14, but it was sub-par. The oxtail was mostly bone pieces with minimal amounts of meat on it presented in small-sized chunks. The flavour was barely there and I ended ... up adding some of my own flavours to make up for it. Overall, not a bad place, but it needs to work on delivering more bang for your buck in terms of serving sizes and flavour. The chicken and goat curry roti's are really good I love both and you get quite a bit of meat. The goat I had today was loaded with it I was very pleased. The price is not that bad if you really think about it and compare it to other ... locations. I think the roti portion sizes to be very fair. The hot sauce is amazing, spicy and full of flavour. Very similar to a hot sauce I have had from Ghana, it exactly what I was hoping for. Reasons I deducted a star are because I find the rice dinners have almost no sauce and the beef I had was very dry but the rotis are perfect I am not sure why there is such a drastic difference between them. Second they display their opening hours as 11am however they do not actually open until about 12:30pm - 1pm throughout the work week at least. Not impressed. I noticed the place had NO SMELL. WHY CANT I SMELL THE FOOD?! I was told by a girl that works there that they get the meat from a butcher that removes the bone. The food is cooked without bones?!??! Seriously where do you think the meat gets ... it's moisture? Not to mention I ordered curry goat and it literally has no sauce on it. Since when does a curry goat plate not get smothered in the gravy it's cooked in? I usually go to Our Famous Recipe- and believe you me I'll be ordering pizza the next time they are closed.
