Pho Binh has decent Vietnamese food in the West Jasper area of YEG. It's by no means spectacular but is serviceable for the area. Great lemongrass dishes and vermicelli. Not the best presentation or creativity. But quite tasty. The service is just ok and the atmosphere is lacking. But ... if you are hungry and wanting to try some Vietnamese, you can give this establishment a try and won't go wrong on the food front. Read more

Giving it 2 stars because of the food. Salad rolls and rare beef pho were great. Restaurant is filthy, run down and unsanitary. Forks were thrown in a bowl, holes and plaster in the wall and the hot sauce bottles had old residue smothered around the caps... Our server, who I think was ... the owner was on her phone (facetime) the entire time. Even when she dropped our plates off, she used one hand to talk to her friend on FaceTime VERY loudly. She never came back to check on us or bring the bill. My wife walked to the front and asked to pay, the lady didn't put her phone down once and just said "$70" with no actual bill. Food was average at best. Service was close to non-existent, made worse by the fact that there were hardly any other customers, so it’s not like it was busy. The one employee barely glanced at our vaccination info, so take that as you will. There are definitely better places close by.

I ordered the ... large and the amount of food you get is considered a regular size at other Vietnamese restaurants. Very small portion of protein as well. Service: we were not greeted when we first walked in. We sat ourselves. And it took about 5-6 minutes before we saw a single staff member. They are there, we can hear them, they spend more time in the back then helping customers. Atmosphere: minimally decorated, older looking chairs and tables. Feels pretty cold and empty. Prices, flavour and taste are great, like other Pho restaurants. The restaurant is clean and moderately decorated. The quantity is less than other places however.
