Hakone Sushi - Coquitlam, British Columbia

Rolls were mostly rice. They included rice *in* the inside and a ton of rice on the outside. Very little fish, very little avocado (many peices did not have avocado). Poorly wrapped and mushy. I wouldn't order again.

Sitting down for sushi at Hakone is akin to the feeling of coming home. Great quality food, great prices, even better care and service by a family-owned small business. A must-visit in Coquitlam! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I did not score the atmosphere as I had my dinner delivered by Skip the dishes. The food was delicious and the presentation very good even for delivery. I usually order from Uber Eats. Every time I am increasingly more disappointed with the aesthetic & quality. Never ordering from here again. Seaweed is horrible quality, stale, damp, and hard to chew. When you order the party tray sushi in the middle is squished & barely have anything in ... there! This time was the WORST! Another staple place for hangouts between friends. Hakone is a lowkey restaurant hidden in a mini-mall that is close to Coquitlam center. The service is quick, water is completely being refilled and the food is great for it's price. I would definitely recommend bringing friends and family here :)
