Food quality was not enough and quality was not the greatest they need to up their game on food. I really was hoping for good veitnamese food but was left not satisfied
TAO under new Management. I'm updating my review. Back in 2016 I gave it a 5 star review. Now you get 1 star unless you fix your food. I leave the OLD review for you to know we ate at Tao 100's of times now it's changed. Ordered Vermicelli and Spring ... Rolls + Beef. A friend ordered beef curry. The beef used to be savory, flavorful and delicious. NOW the beef is excessively oily, feels a bit under cooked and is not seasoned the same way. The spring rolls were overcooked. Meat portions were way smaller than before. Please go BACK to the old recipe under the previous management. 2016 5* review..."Tao is awesome. Have been eating here for 3+ years, never a bad meal, always good service. Great soups and vermicelli dishes, and satay beef. I have yet to find another Vietnamese restaurant in the DT area that comes close." 2019 - Not so much, sadly. Read more
Really well priced, especially for downtown, but the service was SUPER slow. It was pretty full but found out there were only two people working that day, so considering it was good. Food was on point and delicious. I had the crispy noodles and my friend had vermicelli with pork ... and shrimp. I'll be back for sure. Read more
I ordered pickup- 2 orders of pho and bubble teas. Inside of restaurant was very clean, bright and modern. Didn't have to wait long. The pho was delicious but not overly spicy. Would eat there again, but was not outstanding.

Service is bad. The lady is so slow and yelled at us when we asked for two extra bowls since we have two little kids to share. The food is not editable and has lots of MSG except for the spring rolls. I don’t understand how places like this still survive ... in this economy. Will not go back. Read more
