Crave Cookies and Cupcakes - Calgary, Alberta

The cupcakes are highly addictive. We find that a whole cupcake is a bit much for one sitting, so we tend to cut them in half and have them over 2 days. The next day they are still fresh and delicious.

I was very disappointed when I picked up a cake I ordered today. It was a good thing I asked to look at it because the writing isn’t even remotely in the Center of the cake. It’s squished to the left side and definitely more in the upper part of ... the cake. How a decorator thought this looked ok, is beyond me. I’m not looking for exactly perfect but this isn’t even close to being in the Center. While it wasn’t an expensive cake by crave standards ($60) it wasn’t a complex design and didn’t require much. It’s also not 100% smooth and there’s a large icing mark by the lettering - perhaps that’s why the lettering is there? When I mentioned this and how crappy it looked, the girl (who was very rude) who got my order told me that she couldn’t change it and that I would just have to call the order line. She offered no solutions and basically pushed me out of the door. Did not apologize, didn’t really care. I’ve supported crave for almost 20 years. I got my 21st birthday cake from there, my son’s birthday cakes, purchased hundreds of cupcakes over the years and even purchase their take and bake mixes and cookie dough from co-op. It’s disappointing to receive that type of customer service and disregard - I’ll be looking to order elsewhere. Read more

Unsure if they changed the recipe or if I don’t tolerate sweetness as much anymore but I found their cupcakes to be extremely sweet. The coconut ones are so sweet it’s almost inedible and the cake itself is rather small (I remembered something bigger in the past) vs the cream. ... Staff is always very nice. Read more

This was the first cake I’ve ever ordered from Crave and it did not disappoint. I ordered a Chocolate Rose Signature Cake with White Icing, but I requested the design all around the side be continued into the top instead of writing. The staff had no problem with that and ... it turned out amazing! As delicious as it was beautiful! *candles purchased elsewhere. Read more

Delicious cupcakes and never had a problem. Always consistent with the quality and taste. It’s a must stop for my wife when ever we’re in the area!
